Hi, I'm Dessie! Conchar, writer, photographer, and recipe developer lifeloveandsugarcake.blogspot.com. Here you will find proven recipes for all of my favorite desserts - from cakes and cheeses to cakes and brownies. You will even find a sprinkling of appetizers, food and cocktails.

I grew up with love to create and big sweet teeth. From drawing to sewing, I always do something creative. I attended the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and received a Design and Multimedia degree at the School of Journalism. After graduating, I took the time to work on print, online and tv graphics before starting this site. Now I work full time on this blog and love it! I am very grateful for the opportunity to share my sweet and living love with you.

Life, Love and Sugar resumed in 2012, not long after I used cake decoration as a hobby. I make cakes for friends and family thinking that maybe I will do it regularly. I love the creativity that enables cake decoration, but have difficulty finding great recipes. I decided to start working on my own recipe and soon this site was born. I really like sharing recipes so I decided to shift my focus to this site entirely, rather than decorating a cake.
